A lot of corporate businesses have now realized the need to have their staff trained, especially in the dining and wine etiquette areas. This training effectively improves the image of the organization and promotes confidence and self assurance of their employees’ conduct to help them keep ahead of the competition as our work environments become more and more global and entertaining or being entertained becomes common place. Professionals:
Want to feel confident that they can handle any situation... and that includes etiquette in fine dining and other areas.
Will have the opportunity to attend banquets and receptions and will want to do so with confidence and style.
Will be interviewed for possible job opportunities...and those interviews often include a fine dining setting.
Are constantly in the limelight and others watch everything they do... even when they are dining! Set the pace, in their careers, work environment and do it with competence everywhere they go... and that includes being in the know on Dining Etiquette.
It is in addressing this need that the Lord Erroll together with our training chef, Rudi Honegger, has undertaken to hold one day corporate workshops that cover time keeping, general table manners, the secret of formal place setting how to use knife, fork, spoon and other table utensils, how to use a napkin, foods you can eat with your fingers, tips and pitfalls, food sampling, wine and other areas of etiquette.

This is a two week training that will give bar tenders a knowledge of diverse bar drinks, how to serve them flawlessly and also boost their confidence in regards to interaction with patrons. Bar tender training will take place at the Lord Erroll restaurant.
Although we have a number of service training institutions in the country, the service standards as a whole are very low, as compared to international ones.
Service staff need to be well versed in food and drink and the training will help boost knowledge, good and fast service, alertness and confidence to make the participants more efficient in their jobs.
